Brief overview of the e-Procurement Solution/Public Procurement Activities

To design a technologically centralized platform for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDA’s) to publish their tenders and for contractors to submit their bid online.

To create, modify, update and manage all public procurement plans in the state.

To create a platform where vendors are notified via email notifications of bid packages for projects by different contractors.

To effectively coordinate, manage and perform bid advertisement and submission activities.

To carry out open and transparent evaluation on all tenders electronically subsequently leading to the award of contract.

The Objectives of the Bureau:

To formulate and establish acceptable pricing standards and benchmarks.

To marginalize existing government policies and practices on public procurement to ensure probity, accountability and transparency in the procurement process.
